Georg Hobmeier (Directions & Performance)

...was born in Innsbruck, Austria, 28.9.1977. He works as a freelance performance artist Since 2000 he created numerous interdisciplinary projects bringing together artists from dance, digital music, architecture, theatre and visual art. His recent projects have been presented at ICA London, Cynetart Festival Dresden, Mellkweg Amsterdam and others. He currently travels through Europe, while giving lectures, working on projects and teaching workshops, all in the realms of dance, performance and realtime media. He was a visiting director, lecturer and teacher at various reknowned institutions such as the RSAMD Glasgow, Folkwanghochschule Essen, Kunstakademie Nürnberg and others. His recent media project, the computer game „Frontiers“has received extensive coverage in international media and is being exhibited in the ZKM in Karlsruhe. He is an active member of the artist groups Gold Extra and Sweet&Tender.

Tommy Noonan (Directions & Performance)

Tommy Noonan holds a B.A. in English from Vassar College, USA. After gradating, he worked in the field of book publishing in New York, while directing, producing and performing in his own work at The Merce Cunningham Studio, The Flea Theater and other small venues on the side. In 2006 he was awarded a DanceWEB scholarship to attend ImpulsTanz in Vienna. Between 2006 and 2010 he was based in Freiburg, Germany, directing and performing as an actor and dancer with “pvc-Tanz” full-time. He has also been active in helping to co-found the international artist network and project: Sweet and Tender Collaborations. His work has been performed in festivals and venues in Germany, France, the US, Portugal, Poland, Holland and Mexico, and he has written texts for publication in Revisita Obscena (Portugal) and Freies Theater Journal (Austria) and the Performance Journal (New York City). In 2008 he was a finalist for the Rolex Mentor and Protogé Arts Initiative in the field of Dance; in 2009 he was a contributor to Forum PRISMA in Mexico City, and in 2010 he is an Artist-in-Residence with Residencias del Sur in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Deepak Kurki Shivasvami

After a youth of training in the martial art Kalaripayyattu, he started as a trainee dancer in Attakkalari Center for Movement Arts Bangalore, India (an Umbrella organization for contemporary dance and new media works) in 2002. Later on he was selected to be a part of the company as performer, toured excessivly on a global scale and became the rehersal director of Attakkalari. He was also given opportunities to create own work and teach in schools across southern India. Since November 2007 he have been working as a freelance dancer in Europe.

Jule Flierl

Berlin, works on the interrelation of dance and voice-work, as in her latest pieces „Happiness is a war...m gun 1+2“. Working beyond genres, she has realised various collaborations, e.g. with composers Agustin Castilla-Avilla and Marios Joannou Elia, Miscelanea Guitar Quartett, actress Claire Sobottke a.m. Currently she works as freelancer with Stefan Dreher, Inga Helfrich, Georg Hobmeier and Sania Tropp-Fruehwald.

Michael Petri

was born in Vöcklabruck, Austria, 09.08.1979. Natural born slacker, spend 14 months in Transylvania to search for ancient ancestor bloodlines. Worked in catering, construction, dentist assistent, community worker, camera vendor, factory worker, geriatry, stage designer, production assistent, camera men, director and gardener. Finished his studies by reinventing himself with a mixed media installation "Das Goldene: Fliess" within the depths of the Brückenkopfgebäude by Nazi architect Eduard Fick.
Won some small prizes film related. Collaborates from time to time with depart and Sense Labor. Starts his masterscholarship in Leipzig for Media Arts this autumn.

Amber Hickey

Based in Zürich, Amber currently works mainly in the fields of installation and durational performance. She holds a BA Contemporary Performance Practice from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. She has been a contributor to various forms of the AREA project, curated an event at the Studio Warehouse in Glasgow, worked as a performer in the Olivier-award winning project Carnesky’s Ghost Train, and developed and co-facilitated a workshop about art and activism at the Tate Modern.
Most recently, she has been developing a triptych of works examining the complexities of the female body from an anthropological and scientific perspective and assisting choreographer and performance artist Alexandra Bachzetsis in the creation of a new work. In Autumn 2010 she will begin a postgraduate degree in curating at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste.
